I am interested in how the outer landscape can become a place of comfort and rescue for our inner landscape. My interest lies in the bridge between the outer and inner worlds: how one can influence the other. How thoughts of a landscape can be a mental shelter. How the visible and the invisible, the material and the spiritual intertwine in the human experience.
My land/sky and seascapes are mental wonderings becoming visible. They are like taking a walk without a plan or route and be surprised where one ends up. All are individual works within a variable series.
