My work explores the relationship between physical wandering and mental drifting, moving through in-between spaces where place, memory, and imagination intersect. I am interested in how environments shape inner experience—how walking, observing, and inhabiting a place, whether landscape or city, can open pathways for reflection and thought.
Within this process of wandering and observation, objects and places from my past and present emerge as important points of departure. Encountered as material forms, stories, fragments of poetry, or particular landscapes, they act as bridges between inner and outer worlds. These objects and places carry personal and associative meanings that extend beyond themselves, prompting both introspection and imaginative projection.
